We believe our children deserve to know where they come from. Taglish Tots exists to nurture Filipino identity through language, storytelling, and connection. We are here to help our half-Filipino and multicultural families pass down the words, warmth, and culture that make us who we are - so our kids can grow up rooted, confident, and proud. We imagine a future where our children know exactly who they are and where they come from.

Our Inspiration

As a Filipino mom raising two half-Filipino, half-white little boys here in America, I’ve always felt a deep desire for them to know where they come from - not just through food or traditions, but through the language that holds so much of our heart.

When I started introducing Tagalog to Noah and Hayden, I quickly realized there weren’t many resources out there that felt simple, kid-friendly, and meaningful. At the same time, Noah, -my little storyteller - was always creating imaginative adventures about our family.

And one day it clicked:
What if their stories could be the lesson?

So I began writing down Noah’s words, shaping them into playful stories, and bringing them to life for him and his baby brother. What started as a small, loving project for our own home slowly grew into something bigger.

And that’s how Taglish Tots was born - a way to help my boys (and hopefully yours, too) learn Tagalog one story, one laugh, one page at a time.
